Position Overview
The Product Manager, Link Solutions will develop and maintain product roadmaps, work with engineering to deliver those roadmaps, commercialize product releases, meet regularly with internal/external customers, and generally help drive revenue-generating activities within Conductor. This is a very strategic role, reporting into the VP, Product Management.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and evolve a product roadmap along with service offerings that meets the needs of the market
- Influence a cross-functional product team to deliver the product roadmap
- Direct requirements gathering activities through market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers
- Document and prioritize product requirements
- Influence and collaborate with other teams on strategic and tactical initiatives such as product commercialization, supporting the sales effort, and ensuring customers’ needs are being met post-sale
- Act as the primary spokesperson for the product to customers on a regular basis to promote the business plan and build awareness
- Participate in the build/buy/partner analysis for defining strategy to achieve the product vision
- Attend industry events and build repertoire of customer contacts and develop customer relationships
- Participate in corporate strategic planning activities
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree; MBA a plus but not required
- Minimum 3 years experience working in product management within a successful Internet technology company
- Experience managing search marketing technology products a plus; experience in the SEO industry a double plus
- Must be a self-starter with superb / exceptional organizational skills
- Prior experience managing product development using an agile methodology
- Presentation skills are essential
- An ability to distill, simplify, and prioritize effectively
- Ability to express opinions directly, confidently, and accurately
- Collaborative, a willingness to listen to others prior to making a decision
- Expects and can deal with a constantly changing environment
