NowPublic was featured at a recent New York Tech MeetUp, which offers an interesting kind of service to distribute existing or new content....and in it's current format, generate links.

NowPublic is intended as a community for journalists to write new content or reference back something they've already published. Conductor wanted to test the service, so we republished a recent press release to do so., which was also took advantage of, has a paid service where you can submit a press release (or almost anything you want to publish in something that looks like press release format) to a network of bloggers to entice them to blog about your story. The blog-o-rama aspect sounds like a good concept if it works, but if nothing else, by making the submission you get some permanent links from their site.

Which, of course, we are always in favor of getting! For ourselves and our friends and clients.
