Search growth surges, again...
You can say what you want about online search, but there's no disputing it's a rocket of growth. According to MediaPost's recap of comScore's report, search increased 30% last July from July 2005. Who's winning the engine races? Google took in over 43% of the pie, with a 7 point gain from last year. Yahoo trailed in 2nd place with about 28% of the search pie - down slightly from last year. Lastly, MSN lost a few points bringing their market share down to a whopping 12.834322% (they need all they can get).

Is SEO All Smoke and Mirrors?
When ingesting my daily dose of webmasterworld.com one particular thread within the supporter’s forum caught my attention. The original poster (lets call him Bob) apparently runs a search engine optimization firm and he was concerned that after creating a proposal for a client, the client would in turn take that proposal and implement it in-house. The general consensus of the thread was that in his initial proposal, Bob should blind the client with smoke and mirrors.
