Conductor Donates 75 Pounds of Food to City Harvest
Conductor, Inc. donated 75 pounds of food to City Harvest this December. City Harvest, founded in 1982, is the world’s first food rescue organization, dedicated to feeding the city’s hungry men, women and children. Last year City Harvest collected 23 million pounds of excess food from all segments of the food industry. This food is then delivered free of charge to more than 600 community programs throughout New York City using a fleet of over 600 trucks, bikes and volunteers on foot. Every week City Harvest feeds over 260,000 hungry New Yorkers.
