The Conductor Team is happy to announce they were able to donate 23 backpacks filled with school supplies to Volunteers of America’s Operation Backpack. Operation Backpack is a non-profit organization that donates backpacks every year to school-age children living in New York’s homeless shelters. The backpacks will be delivered on August 17th to children in pre-kindergarten to 12th grade. The entire Conductor Team welcomes everyone back to school!

Operation Backpack works with nearly 11,000 school-age children who live with their families in New York City homeless shelters. Most of these children will go back to school in September without basic school supplies unless we help. Last year, with more than 90 community partners and hundreds of individuals participating, we gave filled backpacks to 7,000 children. This year our goal is even more ambitious: 11,000 filled backpacks.
