Optimization a Top Priority for Retailers
Internet Retailer’s recent monthly survey reported that 72.9 % of merchants consider site optimization a top priority during site redesigns, something 49.9% have rolled out over the last year. With this more “business-oriented” approach to web site design, 81.7% of retailers expect increased traffic to their sites, 76.7% anticipate higher sales, and 66.7% foresee a higher sales conversion rate.
