Don't Overlook the Power of Keywords in the Singular Form

In March, Hitwise released a report on the differences between plural and singular keyword forms. This prompted webmasters to focus their efforts on plural keywords because the plural form proved to drive more traffic. However, using Google Trends singular form keywords proved to still hold their value. Singular form keywords tend to be more popularly searched when standing alone.
