Visibility Report: Online Brokerage Industry
We studied the search marketing strategies of ten of the top online brokerages and found the industry to be amongst the biggest spenders in paid search, investing millions of dollars per month in paid spend. The group left significant room for improvement in their natural search visibility where the majority of clicks occur, by being invisible three-quarters of the time for the industry’s most competitive keywords.
- On average, 75% of the top 10 online brokerage companies’ competitive & most important paid keywords were invisible in natural search results.
- The top ten online brokerage companies spend $7.5M per month on paid search.
- 68% of all search traffic is natural vs. 32% paid, comparatively less than other industries studied.
