SIPE Score
Scan and Score
For a defined set of keyword and destination pairs, Conductor Searchlight crawls the Internet to index specified pages, calculates a score to measure the pages’ relevance and quality, and captures the pages’ rank in the Search Engine Results Page (SERP). The system then identifies and stores the ranking of specified comparison domains in the SERP, and crawls the comparison site’s pages to score their relevance and quality. This data is updated often and snapshots are persisted to enable comparisons and changes over time.
Machine Learning-based Assessment
The Conductor proprietary scoring algorithm takes into account many SEO attributes attributed to high ranking pages. These attributes can be bucketed into four categories – 1) Relevance, 2) Quality, 3) Crawl-ability and 4) Linking. The resulting SIPE™ score (Search Intelligence Predictive Equation) ranges from 0 to 100, with a high score indicating pages that have a better SEO health. One analogy would be to think of the SIPE™ score as similar to how a FICO credit score identifies the credit worthiness of a loan applicant.
Data Mining
By collecting and mining the data to understand the factors that drive higher score and rank, Conductor is able to recommend specific actions that will improve your absolute and relative position. These recommendations can be ranked in order of potential impact to ranking as well as by difficulty of implementation, such that your team can prioritize the low hanging fruit ahead of the more difficult or less effective changes.
Site Monitoring
Also, since the solution is constantly updating its evaluation of your site, it is able to find out quickly and early when changes are made to your site that are less than optimal, so that you can make corrections before your search ranking drops and traffic is impacted.
