Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sr. Manager, Mid-Market Sales to lead the charge in driving revenue growth in our mid-market segment. You will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals. Your focus will be developing the skills of the Mid-Market sales representatives and building playbooks for Mid-Market specific sales motions. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with a proven track record of ramping sales teams and exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Mid-Market Sales Team: Own the full sales cycle, including prospecting, product demonstrations, negotiation, and contract execution for mid-market clients.
- Manage, Train & Enable: Manage and coach a team of individual contributor early career Sales Representatives who carry revenue based incentives. Train and develop the selling skills of this newly formed mid market sales team
- Develop & Manage Pipeline: Manage the pipeline coverage of qualified opportunities to ensure consistent sales performance
- Solution Selling: Understand client needs and challenges and train/ manage the team to position Conductor’s website optimization & intelligence technology as the ideal solution.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer success teams to align on strategies that drive client acquisition and retention.
- Meet & Exceed Targets: Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs of the Mid-Market team by enabling the team to deliver consistent, high-quality, consultative sales engagements.
Qualifications:
- At least 7 years of B2B SaaS selling experience, of which 3 must be in a direct sales leadership role hiring, training and managing a team
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas in a sales leadership role
- Experience ramping & enabling sales representatives to consistently hit goals
- Proven track record of experience managing deal reviews, role plays, building playbooks, providing business cases, and negotiating deals in the best interest of the company
- Strong understanding of digital marketing
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to identify and take action on any issues with a sales process
- Experience managing team activities/ pipeline via CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools.
- Process driven, meticulously organized and self-motivated with a high level of initiative and the ability to work independently.
- Highly motivated, self-starting sales leader with a passion for driving revenue growth.
- Experience working cross-functionally and with a wide range of employees with different skill sets
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to a variety of audiences.
- Willingness to travel as needed around 10% annually
Compensation: Conductormaintains competitive, performance-based compensation programs.
The base salary range for this role is currently $100,000 - $150,000/year.
Actual base salary offered may vary within this range based on education, knowledge, skills, abilities, relevant experience, internal equity, and geographic location, among other factors.The actual compensation, if offered a position, will be based on these factors.
Variable compensation:In addition to the base salary, this role is also eligible for a variable bonus based on attainment of quota and performance targets.This position is an 50/50 split.
