This guide is primarily intended for users responsible for configuring your organization's new Conductor Monitoring account. Some of the steps below require an Editor, Manager, or Admin user type. For more information about user types, refer to the [Users & Roles](/docs/monitoring/users-roles/) article. ## Step 1: Add websites ***Who can do it?** Manager or Admin* ### Why? Adding websites is how you determine what pages you want to monitor with Conductor Monitoring. Conductor Monitoring allows you to adjust the monitoring settings for each website in your account to ensure your websites have the optimal monitoring setup that is tailored to your specific needs. Integrating your web analytics and Google Search Console accounts into Conductor Monitoring makes it easier to analyze performance and prioritize optimization effort. Segments allow you to create logical groupings of your pages based on your needs, which you can then use to make your reporting more effective and to customize the auditing suite. Conductor Monitoring comes with one default segment ("Important pages"), but you can create more to best address your reporting needs. Alerts notify you about all important changes that happen on your website.
