# Web Properties Setup in Conductor Creator and Conductor Intelligence
> Choose and configure the web properties for which Conductor collects data — domains, subdomains, subfolders, and more.
Web Properties is your home for choosing and configuring the different web properties for which Conductor collects data. You can:
* Add web properties for Conductor to track.
* Add comparison web properties from your SEO competitors for Conductor to track.
* Manage those web properties over time.
* Configure tools and features for each web property, such as web analytics integrations, content segments, categories, and more.
You can create a web property group in the **Web Properties** activity in the Settings menu.

## Track Your Web Properties
Follow these instructions for adding a single web property. Need to add multiple domains, subdomains, subfolders, or pages? Refer to [this section](#track-multiple-web-properties-at-once) below.
You can track any of the following types of web properties—where your content lives online—in Conductor:
* Your website's root domain
* A subdomain on your website
* A subfolder from your website
* Your organization's YouTube Channel
* Your organization's Amazon brand
* An individual URL with content you consider part of your organization's digital presence. Note that this can include third-party sites that have content about your organization.
#### What domain should I add?
To track your entire website, use the root domain (example: example.com). Note that entering a domain like *[www.example.com](http://www.example.com)* will track only the "[www](http://www)." subdomain, and no other subdomains on your site. As a result, if you want to track several subdomains on your site—like *blog.example.com*, *product.example.com*, et cetera—consider entering the root domain.
To track a web property:
1. Click **Add Web Property**.\\
2. In the form that appears, enter the URL for the web property you want to add in the **Enter a site** field. The value you enter here will determine the kind of web property Conductor offers as a potential option to track:
* Enter a root domain, subdomain, or subfolder from your website.\\
* Enter your organization's YouTube channel URL.\
*To be recognized as a YouTube channel, the format should be: youtube.com/channel/\[Your YouTube Channel ID]*.\
\
You can find your YouTube Channel ID on your channel home page. Go to the **About** tab, click the **Share** icon, and select **Copy Channel ID**. The ID is now on your clipboard.\\
* If you have added Amazon Tracking to your account, enter the URL for any Amazon product page from a brand you want to track, to add all Amazon content from that brand.\
\
After Conductor identifies the Amazon product page, confirm the Amazon Brand from the list of potential properties.\\
* Enter a URL for a page that you consider part of your organization's digital presence.\\
3. Choose **My Web Property**.\\
4. Click **Continue**.
5. Select whether you want to add this web property to an existing web property group or to create a new group.
* If you choose to add to an existing group, select the group from the menu of active web property groups.\\
* If you choose to create a new web property group, enter a display name.\\
6. Click **Save** or, if you want to add more web properties, click **Save and Add More**.\\
If you created a new web property group, you will be prompted to add keywords to your new group. If you added a web property to an existing group, the keywords tracked for that group will also apply to the web property you added.
## Track Comparison Web Properties
By naming your competitors in Conductor, you get more data to help provide a fuller picture of your performance relative to theirs.
Follow these instructions for adding a single web property as a comparison. Need to add multiple domains, subdomains, subfolders, or pages? Refer to [this section](#track-multiple-web-properties-at-once) below.
You can track any of the following types of comparison web properties—where your competitors' content lives online—in Conductor:
* A competitor's website's root domain
* A subdomain on a competitor's website
* A subfolder from a competitor's website
* A competitor's YouTube Channel
* A competitor's Amazon brand
* An individual URL where a competitor has content you consider part of that organization's digital presence. Note that this can include third-party sites that have content about your competitors' organizations.
To track a web property:
1. Click **Add Web Property**.\\
2. In the form that appears, enter the URL for the web property you want to add in the **Enter a site** field. The value you enter here will determine the kind of web property Conductor offers as a potential option to track:
* Enter a root domain, subdomain, or subfolder from your competitor's website.\\
* Enter your competitor's YouTube channel URL. \
*To be recognized as a YouTube channel, the format should be: youtube.com/channel/\[Competitor's YouTube Channel ID]*\

* If you have added Amazon Tracking to your account, enter the URL for any Amazon product page from a brand you want to track, to add all Amazon content from that brand.\
\
After Conductor identifies the Amazon product page, confirm the Amazon Brand from the list of potential properties.\\
* Enter a URL for a page that you consider part of your competition's digital presence.\\
3. Choose **Comparison Web Property** from the **Report on this as** menu.\\
4. Click **Continue**.
5. Select whether you want to add this web property to an existing web property group or to create a new group.
* If you choose to add to an existing comparison web property group, select the group from the menu of active comparison groups.\\
* If you choose to create a new comparison web property group:
* Enter a display name.\\
* Select your web property groups and the search engines you want to compare this comparison group's performance against.\\
* Select or create a label for this comparison web property group.\\
6. Click **Save** or, if you want to add more web properties, click **Save and Add More**.\\
## Track Multiple Web Properties at Once
You can add multiple domains, subdomains, subfolders, and pages at the same time. Note that:
* You cannot add multiple YouTube channels or Amazon brands at the same time. You can add these one at a time with the method described above.
* Adding multiple properties—your own or comparisons—will create a new web property group for each. If you want to group any of these properties, consider using the single-add method described above.
To add multiple properties:
1. Click the **Add multiple web properties** link.\\
2. Select whether you are adding one of your own properties or a comparison web property.\\
3. Enter the domains, subdomains, subfolders, or pages you want to track. Multiple entries can be separated by line breaks or commas.\\
4. If you are entering comparison web properties, select your web property groups and the search engines to which you want to compare this comparison's performance.\\
5. Click **Continue**. You'll see a summary of the additions you are making.
6. Confirm your additions are correct and click **Add \[x] selected Web Properties**. Conductor will track data for these web properties.
## Manage Your Tracked Web Property Groups
You can configure a number of aspects of each of your tracked web property groups by clicking Manage for the group you want to configure:\\
### Track Keywords for Your Web Properties
To track keywords for [traditional search performance reporting](/docs/intelligence/keywords/), click **Track keywords**:
* From the web property group on **Web Properties**.\\
* From the **Web Property Group** **Management** form.\\
To track many keywords for a web property group, you can click the link to the [**Keyword Bulk Update**](/docs/intelligence/update-keywords-in-bulk/) tool.\\
### Track Topics for Your Web Properties
To track topics for [AI Search Performance](/docs/intelligence/ai-search-performance/), click **Track topics**:
* From the web property group on **Web Properties**.\\
* From the **Web Property Group** **Management** form.\\

### Manage Your Comparison Web Properties
#### Manage your Comparison Web Property Groups
If you want to add or remove the comparison web property groups associated with one of your web property groups:
1. Click **Manage**.
2. From the **Comparison web property** **groups** dropdown menu, select additional comparison groups or clear current selections.
#### Add brand names to your Comparison Web Property Groups
You can add specific brand names to associate with your tracked comparison web properties to help our [AI Search Performance](/docs/intelligence/ai-search-performance/) reporting feature interpret AI search responses and ascribe brand mentions to your competition.
1. Go to the **Comparison Web Properties** tab.
2. Click **Manage**.
3. Click **Add brand names**.
4. Add brands to the form as described in the [AI Search Setup](/docs/intelligence/ai-search-setup/) article. The brand will be associated with your comparison web property when Conductor reviews AI responses for brand mentions.

### Configure Your App Integrations and Other Platform Tools from Web Properties
#### **Web Analytics**
Integrating your organization's web analytics data is a vital part of Conductor's value. To configure your integrations for the web properties in this group:
1. Click **Manage**.
2. Click **Web Analytics**.

#### **Google Search Console**
To integrate your account to take advantage of the [Search Console Analytics](/docs/intelligence/search-console-analytics/) report:
1. Click **Manage**.
2. Click **Google Search Console**.

#### **Create and Configure Page Groups from Web Properties**
To create and configure a page group:
1. Click **Manage**.
2. Click **Page Groups**.

#### **Configure the Click-through Curve for Your Web Properties**
Click **Show more** and then **Click-Through Curve** to [Customize the Click Through Curve Used in Conductor](/docs/platform/customize-the-click-through-curve-used-in-conductor/).
#### **Edit Your Web Property Group's Display Name**
To edit your display name, simply hover and click where the name appears in the **Web Property Group** **Management** form.
## Manage Your Tracked Comparison Web Property Groups
Using the **Manage** button in the **Comparison Web Properties** tab, you can configure a number of aspects for each tracked comparison web property group.
1. Go to the **Comparison Web Properties** tab.\\
2. Click **Manage** for the group you want to make changes to.\\
Make changes to the group. You can edit:
* The display name.
* The web property group and the search engines you want to compare this group's performance against.
* The label for the comparison group.
## Archive Tracked Web Properties and Web Property Groups
Depending on your reporting needs over time, you might want to remove web properties from your groups or entire web property groups from Conductor. You can do this by archiving these web properties and web property groups. The processes are the same for your web properties and groups as for comparison web properties and groups.
Note that archiving a web property:
* Deactivates any tracked keywords associated with the web property.
* Removes it from reports, including both current and historical tracked keyword data. Note that—while the data is removed from report interfaces—your historical tracked keyword data (up to 24 months) is not deleted when you archive a related web property.
### Archive a Web Property in a Group
1. Click the **Manage** button on the web property group for which you want to archive a web property.
2. Click the **Archive** icon for the web property you want to archive.\\
3. Click to confirm.
### Archive a Web Property Group
1. Click the **Manage** button for the group you want to archive.
2. At the bottom of the form, click **Archive this group**.\\
3. Click **Save** to confirm.
### Restore Archived Tracked Web Properties and Web Property Groups
Web properties within groups and whole web property groups can be restored from being archived.
1. Click the **Manage** button on the web property group to which you want to restore an archived web property.
2. Click the **View Archived** link.\\
3. Click the **Archive** icon for the web property you want to unarchive.\\
4. Click to confirm.
### Unarchive a Web Property Group
1. Click the **View Archived** link.\\
2. Click the **Manage** button for the archived group you want to restore.
3. At the bottom of the form, click **Unarchive this group**.\\
4. Click **Save** to confirm.
