Bennett Theimann


Bennett was born and raised in Germany; and in addition to earning his MBA in Finance & Investments from Baruch College, he received a BA in Economics from Friedrich-Alexander-University in Nuremberg as well as an MA in Economics from the Université Paris-IX-Dauphine in Paris. Bennett speaks 4 languages (English, German, French, and Spanish).

He has over 20 years’ experience delivering results in start-ups and more established companies. He started his career in publishing and worked as the GM for Gruner+Jahr (the global magazine/internet division of Bertelsmann) where he oversaw the creation of the Business Innovator Group (BIG) which included and Fast Company magazine. In addition to driving organizational synergies, he helped close and sign the company’s first global advertising deal with IBM . More recently, Bennett served in several executive roles, including CEO/CFO at Mojiva, CFO at Tracx Systems, and CFO at TargetSpot.
