AlphaThis feature is in an Alpha program. Aspects of it are subject to change with little or no notice. Conductor may also decide not to continue developing or supporting this feature.
Recommendations are generated on-demand and cached briefly. When you open the Recommendations side panel, Conductor pulls the latest signals to ensure you are seeing the most up-to-date guidance.
Not currently. We believe the value of this feature lies in Conductor’s curated, expert interpretation. By maintaining a standard set of rules, we ensure your team stays focused on objectively high-impact tasks without the noise of over-configuration.
In a given recommendation for a topic, Conductor looks at the prompts tracked in that topic and prioritizes the five to optimize your content for based on the having the most potential for impact. This prioritization uses the following logic:
  • Narrow down to the set of prompts that are contributing to the recommendation trigger. For example, if the recommendation suggests you Boost brand mentions, Conductor looks at prompts for which you are not mentioned. For Improve sentiment, Conductor looks at prompts flagged for negative sentiment.
  • Identify the relevant content—or lack thereof:
    • For optimization recommendations, we narrow to prompts that have closely related pages on the selected site.
    • For content creation, we show prompts that have no related pages.
  • Prioritize prompts where your tracked competitors are being mentioned or cited. If there are multiple competitors, the priority is higher. These indicate a higher urgency in your competitive market.
  • Other factors that contribute to sorting:
    • Intent: Comparison and Pricing represent the highest priority, followed by Purchase and Recommendations.
    • Unbranded prompts: these prompts are given a higher priority because of their potential to increase your visibility.
    • Active loss: prompts where you have recently lost mentions or citations are prioritized higher.
