Conductor is growing our Engineering Team and we are looking for a Sr. Platform Engineer with a focus on tools and infrastructure. From the CEO down, Conductor is committed to making quality an integral part of its company brand. Our team is responsible for pushing our testing, continuous integration, delivery, and deployment solutions to the next level and needs your help to bring in fresh ideas and perspectives. The successful candidate will be primarily focused on building and maintaining solutions to help support the engineering team. This role will have a direct impact on our ability to efficiently develop, test, deploy, and monitor high quality features to production for our customers quickly and efficiently.
What you'll do (Responsibilities):
Adapting to Conductor Monitoring
- Champion the adoption of DevOps practices and methodologies, driving collaboration and efficiency across development and platform engineering teams.
- Operation, maintenance and further development of our hybrid cloud infrastructure (on-premise & AWS), together with external partners
- Lead the migration of traditional applications (e.g., PHP on Linux servers) to microservices and container-based architectures
- Own, design and implement CI/CD pipelines
- Setup, maintain, and optimize AWS Infrastructure to ensure availability, scalability, and reliability
- Drive cloud-native security best practices (secrets management, RBAC, security policies)
- Participate in technical design reviews with product and platform teams
Who you are (Required Skills/Abilities):
- You have at least 5+ years of reliability engineering experience, including experience with on premise cloud, bare metal and public cloud
- Manage Linux based infrastructure (CentOS, Rocky Linux) at server level, including provisioning, configuration management and deployments using Ansible
- Hands-on experience designing, building, and operating distributed data systems at scale (Elasticsearch, MySQL etc.)
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (VPC, IAM, EKS,EC2, RDS, SQS, S3, Lambda etc.)
- Experience with deployments, configuration, and infrastructure management: Docker, Helm, Terraform, Terragrunt, Crossplane etc.
- Experience with Kubernetes and its ecosystem ( Operators, Prometheus, ELK, Opensearch Grafana, etc.)
- Experience setting up and building continuous integration and deployment pipelines using GitOps principles (Github actions, Circle CI, Argo CD etc.)
- Familiarity with building and releasing software in an agile development environment
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset
